 STR was searching for a railway station and railway quarters to shoot some important scenes of 'Vaalu', since he is playing the son of a station master in the upcoming film.However, he could not find one in Tamil Nadu, as the Southern Railway authorities reportedly found it tough to allow the crew to shoot anywhere in the region, as they felt that the routine would be affected. The search of STR and his team members came to an end at last thanks to South Central Railway, as the authorities there permitted them to shoot 'Vaalu' in a railway station near Hyderabad. But they have given only a few days time to wrap up the shoot. Hence, the cast and crew of the movie are working round the clock to achieve the target. Simbu Mocking Dhanush - Hours within launching the new trailer of Vaalu, STR was accused of taking a dig at fellow actor Dhanush.Apparently, a particular dialogue in the video did not go down well with the fans of the Kolaveri di actor. Quoting the dialogue ‘Oru sila pasangala paaka paaka thaan pudikum, aana, unna maadhri pasangala paatha odane pudichudum‘, was mouthed by Hansika in the trailer.
